The 2010 WSFL Schedule has been released and can be viewed at www.gowsfl.com

It will also be posted on our site, under the schedules tab in the near future.

Preseason Update   7-1-10

After traveling up to Menomonie and putting the pads on for only the 2nd time this year, the Rebels found out exactly what they already knew in the 20 - 47 loss.  More practice is needed for this team to come together and get ready for the 2010 WSFL season starting in August.  To be fair the Thunderhawks regular season runs from April through July so let the record show that the Rebels were not so much "out matched" as they were "out practiced".  Over all the trip was a success, and a lot of fun.

2010 Bowling Tournament

Bowling, Brat Fry, Raffel prizes, and good times had by all..
Everyone is invited to the annual Rebel's Bowling Tourmament on Saturday, May 22nd from 11:30am - 6pm at Anchor Lanes in Elkhart Lake.  Even if you are not signed up to bowl come on down and have some fun with the team.

5-21-10

2010 preseason practice is underway!

With a large, talented group of 1st year players along with a solid returning core the Rebels have high expectations for 2010.

Up first in a preseason matchup for the Rebels is a trip North to UW-Stout's Williams Stadium in Menomonie, WI to take on the Menomonie Thunderhawks.

Stay tuned for the complete 2010 WSFL schedule to be announced soon.

Also, coming soon is a new and improved way for you to order your Rebel's clothing and apparel.  The Rebels and Coaches Choice Apparel of Sheboygan have agreed to have Coaches Choice Apparel be the team's exclusive apparel distributor.  Designs and details are currently being put together, please check back, more info will follow shortly.

The story below was written by Brian Gaynor and appeared in the 4-14-10 issue of the Sheboygan Press

Call them the Rebels with a cause — 'cause if you are good enough and fortunate enough to stick with the local semipro football team, expect three things:
You will play on a winner. You will have your nose smashed in on occasion. And there's a good chance you will have the time of your life playing against former high school and small-college standouts in the Wisconsin State Football League.
The first step in that journey is Saturday at the Sheboygan YMCA, when the Sheboygan County Rebels hold a mini-camp for all interested prospects from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
First-year coach Jason Jacobs, a former Oostburg lineman, is sending out feelers to local tough guys who think they can still dish it out in the trenches, bat down passes, hit the hole hard, race deep for the spiral or kick it through the uprights.
Jacobs is low on numbers this season, but the team co-founder burns to keep his club going. He has scheduled another minicamp to start at 10 a.m. on May 1 at Oostburg High School.
These weekend gladiators are extending their careers for the love of the game. They play a 10-game schedule in the fall for a franchise that has made the playoffs during nearly all of its nine seasons.
To the daring and adventurous go the spoils of camaraderie and a lifetime of memories.
